The Right Honourable Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and National Security Hon. Ntsokoane Matekane Launches Outreach Program in Thaba-Tseka

The Right Honourable Prime Minister, who also serves as the Minister of Defence and National Security, has embarked on a transformative outreach initiative aimed at uplifting communities in Thaba-Tseka. The program focuses on three key areas:

• Electrification: Expanding access to electricity for underserved households.

• Disaster Relief Housing: Providing homes for families affected by natural disasters.

• Telecommunications Infrastructure: Installing an Econet tower to improve mobile connectivity and digital access.

The outreach event was also attended by the Principal Secretary of Defence, Mrs Mabataung Khalane, who was accompanied by her delegation comprising members of the senior management team from the Ministry of Defence. Their presence underscored the ministry’s commitment to supporting national development and community resilience
