 PROFILE BRIGADIER GENERAL KONDWANI KAHOBWE

Brigadier General Kondwani Kakhobwe joined the Lesotho Defence Force in 1996 and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant from the British Armed Forces Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom in 1999. During his military career he has served as an Instructor at the Lesotho Defence Force Training Wing, Platoon Commander in the Lesotho Defence Force Infantry Brigade, Military Assistant to the Commander Lesotho Defence Force at the Lesotho Defence Force Headquarters, Director Logistics under the Lesotho Defence Force Logistics Command and Support Services before being appointed Defence Attaché in the Lesotho High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa in 2023.

 In addition, he deployed as a Military Observer in Darfur Sudan under the auspices of the United Nations African Union Hybrid Mission in Darfur (UNAMID). Brigadier General Kakhobwe has successfully completed the Junior Command and Staff Course at the Nigerian Armed Forces Command and Staff College and the Senior Command and Staff Programme at the Botswana Defence and Command Staff College.
